本作『aokiemi Best EDM（all Lead Vocal by aokiemi）』は、既存のEDM POPシリーズ1〜6の中から選ばれた15曲を、aokiemi自身のボーカルで再構築したアルバムである。

オリジナル楽曲の持つエネルギーや構造を尊重しつつ、それぞれの楽曲に新たな息吹を与えることを目的として制作された。単なるカバーや置き換えではなく、「声」というフィルターを通すことで、楽曲の輪郭や感情の重心がどのように変化するのかを探る試みでもある。

aokiemiのボーカルは、楽曲ごとに異なる距離感や温度を持ちながら、リスナーの内側へと静かに入り込む。その結果、ダンスミュージックとしての外向きの推進力と、内省的な響きが同時に成立している。
