  This past January, I created and uploaded a song titled "Aike: Izumo Champs-Élysées Street" using the AI music creation tool Suno. The song brings to life the charming 1980s scenes of grandmothers in Izumo gathering for tea, capturing their conversations entirely in the rich Izumo dialect. Despite its hyper-local focus, the track unexpectedly went viral, hitting 170,000 views within six months. Together with other songs, our channel "Esukodawane" has now passed 500,000 total views and reached over 4,200 subscribers. We are deeply moved by such an overwhelming response. This project represents a dynamic chemistry between preserving endangered dialects and leveraging next-generation AI vocaloid technology. I hope our journey inspires other communities across the nation and around the world as a new approach to regional revitalization.
