Sometimes, we're drawn to something for no reason
a person, a moment, a piece of art, or even the steam rising from tea.
There's no logic. No defense. Just a pull.
And in that pull, a name quietly forms.
This poem captures both the purity and the danger of "like."
It acknowledges desire, longing, and obsession
but also celebrates honesty in the face of judgment.
"Like" isn't just a feeling.
It's a name your heart has chosen.
And this work is an ode to the courage it takes to answer to that name
again and again.

kneeking Records
Kneeking Records is an independent music label devoted to capturing the soul of the Dictionary Journey through sound. Founded by Yoshihiro Sato a calligrapher, language pilgrim, and former world kickboxing champion the label weaves together words, rhythm, and voice to create a truly distinctive musical world. Since 2013, Sato has been reading Japanese dictionaries one page at a time, drawing inspiration from each definition to craft poetry, music, and calligraphy. This ongoing project, known as Jisho no Tabi (Dictionary Journey), continues to evolve with every passing day.
