  Ryo Izumi Singer/Song Writer/Producer His first encounter with music was when he touched a classical piano at the age of three. His talent was quickly recognized, and he achieved many wonderful results, including a gold medal at a piano competition in Hokkaido. He gained a sense of pitch and knowledge by playing the piano for 10 years, and spent his childhood listening to and singing various kinds of music. He always loved to sing, and admired the beautiful, long voices of black people in music such as SOUL and R&B. After a career that began in 2002, he founded the label "SOUNDFOUN.Creative.Crew", which brings together creators from various fields, with Ryo Izumi as its representative. In 2013, after the release of his first full album "THE FIRST CRY", he signed a contract with Tower Records, which is unusual for an individual. The physical release was sold out. The digital release also reached number one on the iTunes R&B/SOUL chart, proving his high musicality. He is also at the forefront as a producer for the next generation of artists, helping them make their debut and building trust and a track record. While responding to offers from various genres, he also focuses on his own activities, starting up the R&B-based unit "MOL" and expanding his activities further. It's not about where he lives or the environment... He creates everything himself, promotes Hokkaido music, and broadcasts it from Hokkaido to the rest of the country. He is the most important figure in the Hokkaido music scene.
