Hirotaka Yokome
Born in Shiraho Village, Ishigaki Island, Okinawa Prefecture. He learned the sanshin from an early age under his parents who were masters of Yaeyama classical folk songs. When he entered junior high school, he became interested in band music and devoted himself to band activities with his friends. After graduating from high school, he left the island and moved to Tokyo. While working in Tokyo, he is also active as a guitarist for a band. At that time, he was playing the electric guitar, but he has always been interested in a variety of musical instruments, and now plays the bass, Ichigoichie, and the sanshin and ryukyu flute, which he was familiar with since childhood. Currently, he is actively engaged in music activities such as solo activities and artist support based on his birth island, Ishigaki Island.
