Artist Profile

  • J-REXXX

Born in Tsuyama City, Okayama Prefecture and currently resides in Tokyo. Born in Tsuyama City, Okayama Prefecture, and currently resides in Tokyo. His love of punk rock led him to reggae, and he began his career as a reggae deejay at the age of 16. His stage performance, in which he expresses his anger, sorrow, and pleasure with his whole body, overwhelms others with its sense of presence and unity, and his wide and varied flow and expressiveness are the best in the current reggae industry. He places more importance on the "scene" than anyone else, and his history of winning numerous Dee Jay Clashes shows that he has a keen sense of word choice in improvisation. In 2011, he won the ROAD TO YOKOHAMA REGGAE FESTIVAL and was the top batter at the festival, and in 2014, he performed with his ally Benizakura at the Yokohama Reggae Festival. In 2012, he released his first album "KODAI NINGEN J" and in 2014, his second album "M.U.S.I.C" which was fully produced by his ally DIGITAL NINJA 774. The album has been supported by many people and listeners, and has been widely played at sites all over Japan. He is a Japanese DEE-JAY who transcends the boundaries of reggae, generation and genre, and always gives a great impact and impression to the hearts of listeners.
