"2K26 Freestyle" is the first collaboration between Osaka-based rapper Takm and French producer speace88, known for his work with artists like Charlu.
As the title suggests, the track was written in a single night through pure freestyle, capturing a raw and unfiltered moment.
Born out of a sleepless night, the lyrics reflect a sense of dissatisfaction with the current scene, a challenge to the status quo, and a strong determination to keep running his own race.
With lines like "J-Rap doesn't resonate anymore, Takm presents a bold perspective, grounded in loyalty, a vision of rising with his people, and the hunger to reach the top.
The track embodies the skills and impulses he's built through balancing everyday life and music, delivered through a vivid and unfiltered flow.
Takm also handled every aspect of the production himself - from recording, mixing, and mastering to graphic design - making this a fully self-made piece with uncompromised authenticity.
This is only the beginning.
A solid step toward becoming the center of 2K26.
