Gunjo HAZE

This is the second installment in singer-songwriter Mari's three-month consecutive release series.
"Gunjo HAZE" is an emotional rock track that portrays someone who, despite repeatedly being told they're "not cut out for it," still can't give up on their dreams and continues to sing.
Her crystal-clear vocals blend with a fast-paced beat and a melancholic minor-key sound, simultaneously evoking the exhilaration and loneliness of racing through the city at night.
Lyrics such as "I'm singing until my voice is hoarse on an empty dance floor" and "I've made it this far even though I'm not cut out for this" convey the inner conflict and anxiety that anyone chasing a dream has felt at least once-along with the determination to keep moving forward despite it all.
About the Title "Gunjo HAZE"
"Gunjo HAZE" is a neologism coined by Mari.
By layering the deep, nocturnal blue of "gunjo" with the ambiguity of "HAZE" (haze or mist), it expresses the mental landscape of someone wavering on the boundary between dreams and reality, where the future remains unclear.
It refers to the time spent continuing to walk forward, carrying a dream you cannot bring yourself to give up, even while grappling with loneliness and confusion. We named this ambiguous, beautiful, and unstable emotion itself "Gunjo HAZE."
