FLARECODE is a four-member project inspired by anime and game culture.
Blending emotional melodies with dramatic song structures and a mix of EDM, rock, and J-pop, FLARECODE creates songs that feel like theme songs from an anime that doesnt exist yet.
Their debut single Crystal Goodbye captures the fragile moment between heartbreak and moving forward, wrapped in shimmering synths and powerful vocals.
FLARECODE is a mixed-gender vocal group consisting of four teenagers from Japan and the United States. The group name embodies the meaning of FLARE (a flash of light) that ignites sparks in the heart, and CODE (a cryptic message) that each listener unravels within themselves. With lyrics that naturally blend English and Japanese and a sound fusing pop, rock, and anime song influences, they weave narratives of youthful pain, confusion, parting, love, and even small glimmers of hope. The distinct voices of each member intertwine, aiming for performances that etch themselves into the hearts of viewers and listeners like a code of light from fleeting brilliance to lingering resonance.
