Feel Alive

Crossfaith

Silent as a stone

I could hear your

Heartbeat clearly

Now I can’t find the symphony

Do you feel alone?

Don’t you feel down in misery

Come and cry right next to me

You’ll be alright

If you feel the same as me

And I’ll be alright

If you’re holding my hands

Now we find can’t live alone

And time will tell

The rain will be gone

If you cry then

I’ll cry next to you

I wanna feel alive

I wanna feel alive with you

And I will be the light

Shine on you everyday

I wanna feel alive with you

In the cloudy sky

What I’ve felt is held

Back suddenly

Will it be like it used to be

The darkness is proving

My lungs still breath

So you can see

And you can feel

Anything

You’ll be alright

If you feel the same as me

And I’ll be alright

If you’re holding my hands

Now we find can’t live alone

And time will tell

The rain will be gone

If you cry then

I’ll cry next to you

I wanna feel alive

I wanna feel alive with you

And I will be the light

Shine on you everyday

I wanna feel alive with you

If your hopes fall apart

I will pick them up again

And I can pull

You off from the pressure

I’m looking at the sky

The cloud is gone

And shines on me

I wanna feel alive

I wanna feel alive

I wanna feel alive with you

I feel alive

I feel alive

I wanna feel alive

I wanna feel alive

I wanna feel alive

I wanna feel alive with you

'Feel Alive' was the first song that we wrote since COVID-19 brought our world down into chaos.

Everyone was forced to be alone and divided by the virus, thus we decided to make this song as hope that cast the shadow. Also, we wanted to make it with our fans, so we recorded actual clap sounds from our fans on the first ever show since this unexpected disaster. In addition, we worked with Josh from Modestep as the mixing engineer that you can hear true essence of UK bass music. This song means a lot to us, and hope this will be the light that shines on you.

Artist Profile

  • Crossfaith

You'd think if a band is going to make a concept album about a troubled future, there's no better time to set it than the present. Doing things the obvious way isn't Crossfaith's style, though. "There are so many reasons we decided to set it in the future," says frontman Kenta 'Ken' Koie of Ex Machina, the Japanese band's fifth album and the follow-up to 2015's critically acclaimed Xeno. "Our attitude has always been that we should be constantly pushing to make something different." Since their inception in Osaka in 2006, Crossfaith have been on the edge of a fusion of rock, metal, electronica and big ideas on their albums; and the edge of euphoria with their live shows. Ex Machina is the album on which they walk that fine, fiery line more skilfully and seismically than ever. Long-renowned as a live band without parallel having played some of the most prestigious festival stages in the world, Crossfaith continue to go from strength to strength. A peerless set of musical warriors who leave no stone unturned when it comes to experimentation and excitement, through their albums and live performances they have established a reputation as a truly unique band.
