"The fourth day of a long night."

Rapper/DJ LEAP (from Stroll Kidz), originally from Atsugi City, Kanagawa Prefecture, will release his first album, "day4," in April 2026.

This album, LEAP's first full-length album, was completed after approximately three years of production. It's a work in which he candidly pours the emotions and events he's held onto during his period of silence into 13 songs.

Sound-wise, the album is based on a beat centered around Boom Bap, considered the origin of hip-hop, and features a collection of songs that complement the lyrical narrative, ranging from mellow and emotional tracks to powerful drum-driven pieces.

Inferiority complex, conflict, doubt, anger, sadness, and joy.

Through his own experiences and realism, he depicts all the unavoidable emotions that people experience in life, resulting in a work that resonates with listeners living in the same era.

The album title, "day4," is a continuation of the series that LEAP has released so far, following "day1," "day2," and "day3."

These songs explored themes of LEAP's greatest failures and struggles in his life. The lyrics of "day3" end with the line, "This is the end," marking the conclusion of that long three-day story.

And this album, "day4," signifies the end of those "long three days."

Facing the past, laying everything to rest, and moving on to the next stage-

This album depicts the "morning of the fourth day," symbolizing the reckoning of the past and a fresh start for LEAP as an artist.

Guest appearances include rapper Hashishi, known as a member of the unit Denpa Shojo, which has a strong presence in the Japanese hip-hop scene with its unique worldview and literary lyrics; rapper Henny K, also from Atsugi City, Kanagawa Prefecture; and close friends KK and Slim Boy, whom LEAP met through his activities in Okinawa. Furthermore, singer SONOMI, known for her long-standing presence in the Japanese hip-hop/R&B scene and numerous collaborations with various artists, also participates as a guest artist.

The beat producer is Masahiro Ishikawa (DJ SAM), who placed 4th in the Red Bull Music 3Style world DJ competition and produced tracks such as rapper Masato Hayashi's "N.I.C.K." He also produced many tracks. Other participating artists include his older brother, Toshiaki Ishikawa, Yoshinuma (who produced the beat for LEAP's hit song "Alright feat. Slim Boy & Tsubaki"), Mizu9%, a beatmaker known for collaborations with Okinawa-based rapper TORAUMA, and Oita-based beatmaker illmore.

The album cover art was created by Camellia-HITO-, and the visual symbolizes the narrative and atmosphere of the work.

"day4" is finally complete after three years of silence.

It is a work that records the "morning of the fourth day" of accepting the past, letting go of everything, and moving on to the next stage.
