Sound carved out of the cracks between work, parenting, and reality.
A three-piece band of working dads raising two kids.
Late at night, stealing whatever time we can,
fathers on the same wavelength gather in a studio.
What we create ist pretty fiction
its raw music for surviving the present.
Recording is simple: one take in the studio.
Captured on a phone and delivered straight to streaming.
Unpolished sound, stripped-down impulse.
Because life is busy, these songs exist.
Because we have something to protect, these lyrics are born.
On Instagram and YouTube,
we share our process and promotional videos.
Beyond music, through the art project Ethical Man,
we create illustrations and exhibit in galleries.
That world is also released as a novel on Kindle.
"minimalist father of two, I paint before work, sharing on social media and publishing autobiographies and illustrated books on Amazon Kindle. This song was improvised while drunkenly cooking hotpot with friends at home. The lyrics were written on the spot, and it sparked the formation of a band, making it a memorable tune. This story from the past is now available on Kindle as Jenny Rain with a Pistol. The initial flute sound came from a flute my child received somewhere, so I tried playing it. Recorded with a nearly broken phone, the music was improvised, giving it a cozy, intimate feel. Enjoy!
