This is the first original song by the vocal and ukulele duo of Keiko, an active Hawaiian singer and songwriter, and Ryoukei, a ukulele player specializing in jazz and bossa nova.

The duo has been updating YouTube videos covering various Japanese classic songs and J-pop. This is the culmination of their efforts, and we hope you will immerse yourself in the world of this refreshing and heartwarming song.

Artist Profile

  • Keiko & Ryoukei

Keiko is one of Japans leading Hawaiian singers, beloved not only for her performances but also for her ukulele singing lessons and YouTube live shows. Ryoukei is a ukulele player known for his jazz and bossa nova style, and the director of RIKES UKE, a ukulele school based in Yokohama. Together, they began performing as Keiko & Ryoukei in 2019. Their first album, Nanea, was nominated for the 2024 Na Hoku Hanohano Awards, often referred to as the Grammy Awards of Hawaii. Featuring Hawaiian songs carried by Ryoukei's jazz- and bossa nova-inspired ukulele rhythms and Keikos soothing voice, as well as original co-written works including the title track, the album delivers an exquisite Nanea sound - a musical experience of deep relaxation.
