誰もが敬意を払うはずの"神聖なクラシック"を、KNOXは容赦なく引きずり下ろす。『KNOX CLASSICS: Nothing Sacred』は、名だたるクラシックの名旋律をグランジの荒々しい衝動で塗り替えるコンセプトアルバム。オーケストラの様式美に頼らず、あくまで「とんがったロックバンド」としての轟音ギターとリズムでクラシックを再武装する。深夜の暴走猫の一人称で駆け抜ける「3 A.M.」から、前線の兵士と命令を下す指揮官、それぞれの視点で戦争の非情さを描く対の楽曲群まで――収録曲が向き合うのは、誰かにとっての"神聖なもの"を疑い、暴き、時に壊してみせる衝動そのもの。何も聖域にしない。それが『Nothing Sacred』というタイトルの意味であり、このアルバムの流儀。
