SANDTOWN's new single, The Perception of Silence, will be released on Friday, December 27th!

This song was written as the theme song for the short drama Utsu Debu Otoko to Dokuzetsu Onna (The Depressed Fat Man and the Sharp-Tongued Woman), starring Nishida from Lalande (a popular Japanese comedian) and Tanukana (a well-known streamer). Inspired by the drama's script, suna -who writes and composes for SANDTOWN- crafted this track. The title, The Perception of Silence, is based on a philosophical paper and reflects the journey of breaking free from the noisy thoughts that haunt the mind and finding inner peace.

The short drama has already accumulated nearly 100,000 views, resonating with many viewers. The song deepens this emotional connection with its poignant atmosphere and striking guitar riffs. It was produced by Ko Muto, who also handled the sound for the drama, adding a delicate yet unique touch to the track.

    Born on August 30, Virgo From an early age, she was exposed to English, Japanese and Western music, and developed an interest in music. At the age of 5, she began learning musical theater, and at the age of 9, she participated in and passed the NHK Nodo Jiman (singing contest). At the age of 14, influenced by the music of aiko, who was recommended by a friend, she decided to become a singer-songwriter and began writing lyrics. After entering university and moving to Tokyo, she began to challenge auditions in earnest and won the semi-grand prize in a vocal contest out of a total of 1013 contestants. In 2013, she started live performances mainly on the internet and performed at zepp divercity. In 2017, she produced his own short film with the desire to make film music. In 2020, she started posting weekly on YouTube due to the Coronavirus. Around this time, he also began teaching himself DTM. In 2023, she started a new project "SANDTOWN" in search of new musical expression.
