I once spent my days chasing my dreams at full speed.
Before I knew it, I'd ended up somewhere far from where I wanted to be-completely drained, both physically and mentally.
After letting go of everything that didn't truly matter, I was left with nothing.
It was a Monday afternoon. I was lying in a messy room, doing nothing, just staring into space.
No money, no work-yet somehow, I still made myself a cup of coffee and sat there quietly, while the rest of the world was busy working.
I felt like I should be panicking, but for some reason, I wasn't.
And in that stillness, I finally began to face myself.
"Dust and Coffee" is a song about that kind of moment.
