• DJ GALAXY

  DJ GALAXY is a Tokyo Bayside born DJ and producer who connects Tokyo and New York through hip hop culture. In 2014 he released the seven inch vinyl TOKYO BX Rising simultaneously in Japan and the United States in collaboration with the New York legendary rap group Camp Lo and Omen44. The following year he appeared as a guest DJ at clubs in New York and performed alongside DJ Evil Dee known for Black Moon and Da Beatminerz and Statik Selektah who has produced for Nas Joey Bada$$ and Westside Gunn. He later released the Japan and New York collaborative project Metropolice on CD in both countries. As the opening track producer under the name Galaxy he produced That Rob Ford by Canadian rapper Raz Fresco. Through this connection he officially released a limited seven inch vinyl INFLUENZA Galaxy Remix by Raz Fresco and Raekwon of Wu Tang Clan which sold out immediately. DJ GALAXY returned to New York to perform with hip hop legends such as Steel of Smif N Wessun and Intelligent Hoodlum also known as Street Life. In 2023 he released his first album BASEMENT TOKYO featuring New York artists including Camp Lo Chelsea Reject t nah and Shadow The Great. In 2024 he released BASEMENT TOKYO Remixes. In 2025 he released Bayside Cruising a project created as a soundtrack for late night drives through the Tokyo waterfront inspired by the city night skyline. As a DJ he is also active as a member of the DJ crew GWC formed together with DJ YUKIJIRUSHI.
