Five nocturnes played by piano and breathy voice invite you to another world dreamed by a girl."sphaera anatomica (left)" is a collection of works called the parallel world of the 4th album "A Fusion Of Two Hemispheres".
The two fused hemispheres had re-divided into two titles, ius (right brain) / left (left brain), and a vail of shoegaze sound, composed of roaring guitar, fuzz bass, and dynamic drums, which are the core of sphere's soundscape had removed, then Shoko's breathy voice grew more vivid, the contours of the song turned to be revealed. The naked version which is newly colored with the tastes of new age, Scandinavian electronica, and acoustic on a canvas dominated by silence.

Formed in 2007 by guitarist Makoto Gomi, the group took a break after releasing its third album in 2011, but resumed its activities in 2022 with the release of its fourth album after 11 years, featuring Shoko Inoue as a new vocalist. Based on a shoegaze sound filled with guitars that combine delicacy and exuberance, the progressive rhythmic approach and nostalgic piano melodies that evoke Scandinavian electronica are intertwined with a meticulously calculated sound image, and the innocent breathy voice of Shoko is layered to create a lyrical soundscape.
