The latest single by Enkyori, "Himeyuri no Hana," tells the story of the Himeyuri Student Corps - young schoolgirls mobilized during the Battle of Okinawa. Through fragile melodies and emotional vocals, the song portrays their fear, sorrow, and desperate wish to simply keep living. Beyond the words "wartime mobilization" lies the harsh reality of lost youth, shattered futures, and lives swallowed by war. Carrying the pain and prayers of Okinawa, this song is both a requiem for the past and a message for the future - a reminder to never repeat the tragedy of war, and to keep the voices of peace alive.
Enkyori Enkyori is a music duo consisting of sappy, a vocalist from Wakayama with a transparent and pure voice, and nona, a pianist from Hokkaido who weaves warm, heartfelt melodies. The two formed the unit in February 2024 after meeting through a live streaming platform. The name Enkyori carries a double meaning: the physical distance that makes it difficult for them to meet in person, and the deep gratitude they feel for the bond of fate that brought them together. While each member is actively working as a live streamer, they continue to nurture warm connections with listeners mainly online. Their 1st single Mizutamari and 2nd single Memories are now available. Even when physically apart, their hearts are one. Through Enkyori music, gentle sounds embrace your heart and bring unforgettable scenes to life.
