Singer - songwriter TAWATA EMI hails from Ginowan, Okinawa. She made her debut in 2008 with her first EP, Infinity. Her warm, soulful voice and timeless sound blend the spirit of her native Okinawan with the 70s soul music that has deeply influenced her. Beyond her own music, she has written and composed songs for other artists and worked as a lyric translator on Disney productions, among a wide range of creative projects. New Single 'MONEY DON'T BUY' - out August 5.
