When I deemed my life ordinary, I took it for granted. Until one day I became ill. When the doctors said I had little time left, I realized how wonderful it is to have a life. I was overcome with the feeling that all living things are beautifully harmonious in nature, laughing, and loving each other with the happiness of being alive on this miracle planet. But I couldn't stop crying when I thought about how I would die leaving a young child behind, how I couldn't hold my child if my body was destroyed. I wanted to believe that "this love is eternal and will never disappear."
Staring at the sea while suffering from sadness, a beautiful melody flowed out of nowhere and into my heart. I called it "Shining Life." It's the first song I've ever written.
I want to share this song with humanity to communicate the message that I received, that love is a wonderous gift.
