THE CHOPPERS REVOLUTION Yoshihiro Naruse(CASIOPEA), IKUO, Takayuki Murata Three super bassists representing Japan across generations and genres gathered and formed in 2012 The Choppers Revolution, an unprecedented triple-bass unit. He has released three original albums and live DVDs, and has performed live performances with colorful entertainment that can change the general image of the base, which is quite a base for the main character. At the event (Choparevo & Base Friends) held at Billboard Live Tokyo for the second consecutive year (Choparevo & Base Friends), we gathered 11 bassists representing Japan. In 2024, I remember visiting Henrik Linder, the bassist of Dirty Loops, a global group from Sweden, on a tour to Osaka in Tomei. Since 2022, the fictional mood singing unit Makoto Kamioka & the Choppa's Ayres has been formed away from the group of three stoic bassists, and activities away from the bassist image, led by his debut song "Chasing Kanto," have become a new boom among fans.
