The film "BOuQuET," directed by SAHEL Rosa in her debut, follows the lives of young people raised in child welfare facilities, weaving together fiction and non-fiction to capture their words and emotions. The delicate world of the film is carefully painted by a soundtrack created by SUGIZO, which empathetically accompanies the emotions of the characters and, at times, seems to voice their feelings. The soundtrack also features a rendition of "Silent Night," arranged by Sarah Àlainn, performed by the cast who actually played the piece in the Christmas scene.
The theme song, "In the Breeze of Light," was created as the first installment of the "hanataba project" derived from the film "BOuQuET." Rising artist SAKI, with her uniquely captivating presence, provides the vocals. This project brought together and realized a dream collaboration: lyrics co-written by SAKI and IWAI Shunji, and music composed and produced by SUGIZO.
