• Jerichö

  Jerichö is a Tokyo-based queer rapper and producer redefining what hip-hop can sound like from Japan. A graduate of Osaka University of Arts (Music Composition), Jerichö has independently released six fully self-produced albums. A multidisciplinary artist, Jerichö creates across music, music video direction, artwork, web design, and game development, building entire worlds around the sound. Drawing from lived experience as a queer artist in Japan, the lyrics move between intimacy and defiance, tenderness and distortion. The sound is genre-fluid: raw hip-hop, cinematic production, and a distinctly Tokyo atmosphere. In 2026, Jerichö launched JELLPHIN RECORDS, an independent label built on artistic freedom and collaboration. Alongside the solo project, Jerichö also serves as MC for WhiteSoxCo., a Tokyo-based hip-hop band signed to the label. Website: https://www.jellphin.com/
