We want to enjoy music beyond the borders!
This idea has taken shape.
Let's cross the border line as if we're straddling a line with ease.
Scenes that were previously invisible will begin to appear.
Let's cross the border line as if we're hopping.
Sounds that were previously unheard will begin to be heard.
Something new is surely waiting for us there.
The two met in September 2006.
They shared many commonalities, including the musical environments they grew up in, their decision to leave their office jobs to study abroad, and their paths leading up to starting their solo careers.
The two were just ordinary music friends, but they shared their passion for making music, the joys and difficulties of playing traditional instruments, and the erhu and arpa, which had been playing in different parts of the world for centuries,
now became one new music in faraway Japan.
