Heiwa no uta

    Heiwa no uta

    Cozue

Produced by Nagasaki-born singer Cozue, the Heiwa no Uta Project was launched with the mission of expressing prayers for peace through the words of children. This song is a heartfelt message created from that vision.
Under the shared slogan, "May Nagasaki be the last city to suffer an atomic bombing," students from Harumidai Elementary School in Nagasaki-Cozue's alma mater-collaborated to write the lyrics, while Hilanos (Shinsuke Hirano) composed and arranged the music.
The lyric, "I'm happy when you're here, and I'm sad when you cry," conveys a simple yet profound message: that appreciating the presence of the people we cherish and never taking them for granted is the first step toward peace.
Originally composed by Hilanos as a choral piece, Heiwa no Uta has been newly arranged and brought to life through Cozue's heartfelt vocals, giving even greater strength to the children's message and sharing their hope for peace with audiences everywhere.
