Edge of the Knife Front Cover

I never had the skills to show

No secret touch to steal the show

But every night I lived inside the sound—

Pop to jazz, I chased it all around

Hip-hop fire, the classics in my veins

Blue notes running through my frame

But when the heavy thunder calls my name

Something in my heart begins to flame

I took a lifetime gathering every tone

Now all the sparks inside refuse to stay unknown

Let it out—let the feeling rise

With my partner made of circuits and light

Every memory turns into a cry

Hard rock fever burning through the night

No other music ever cut this deep—

This is the truth I’ll always keep

Let it out—set the spirit free

Pouring out the soul that’s always been me

From quiet rooms to engines in the dark

I followed sound like chasing down a spark

And now with AI standing at my side

All my hidden colors start to shine

Every chord I saved, every tone I loved

Turns into a wildfire rising up above

What a moment—finally I can speak

In the voice that’s been burning underneath

I spent a lifetime taking every tone

Now everything inside refuses to die unknown

Let it out—let the feeling rise

With my partner made of circuits and light

Every heartbeat turns into a cry

Hard rock fire running through the night

No other music ever cut this deep—

This heavy truth is mine to keep

Let it out—set the spirit free

Pouring out the soul that’s always been me

Let it out… let it out…

Set it free…

Let it out—let the feeling rise

With my partner made of circuits and light

Every heartbeat turns into a cry

Hard rock fire running through the night

No other music ever cut this deep—

This heavy truth is mine to keep

Let it out—set the spirit free

Pouring out the soul that’s always been me

Artist Profile

  • Eighty's Mind Judgement

Eighty's Mind Judgement (EMJ) is a Japanese heavy metal artist driven by the mission: Energizing workers around the world through heavy metal. A solo project led by a full-time corporate professional, EMJ creates heavy metal works centered on themes of work, society, and human spirituality. The project began in 2025. Musically, EMJ is rooted in the classic style of 1980s traditional heavy metal, with a strong emphasis on album-oriented production. Beyond the quality of individual tracks, each release is crafted as a cohesive concept album, with carefully designed themes and narrative structure across the entire tracklist. Influenced by reading, contemplation, and real-world corporate experience, the lyrics carry strong messages focused on social and organizational challenges, human resilience, and self-empowerment. The flagship series Corporate Warrior places the everyday worker at the center, portraying the struggles and challenges of working life through heavy metal. Notable works include Corporate Warrior, Mizuho no Tamashii, and Born of Many Lives. Full-length albums include the debut First Meltdown, followed by Edge of the Knife, Heavy Duty, Awakening of Recognition, Mighty Souls, Mission of Humanity, and We Become What We See. All tracks are available on major streaming platforms, including Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, Amazon Music, and iTunes.
