Artist Profile

  • sassya-

    sassya- Formed in Tokyo in 2012. A three-piece rock band turning the full spectrum of emotions from everyday life into sheer noise, rooted in post-hardcore and noise rock. Over the years, the band has released five full-length albums, along with numerous EPs and split releases. In 2026, the band released the EP BAKUON GENJITSU, along with a limited run of 50 CDs housed in absurdly elaborate aluminum packaging. Sold at a loss, naturally. That October, the band drew over 100 people to a headline show at Kichijoji WARP. Rock bands are nothing but irresponsible illusions. And yet, those very illusions have saved their lives time and time again. Still making noise with every intention of saving everyone. Themselves included.
