"Ukiyo Yoimachi" captures the feeling of intoxication, loneliness, and drifting through the midnight streets of Edo Japan.
Wet stone roads, glowing lanterns, drifting smoke, and quiet desire -
the song paints a sensual journey through the floating world of the night.
Traditional Japanese instruments such as shamisen, koto, and shakuhachi
blend with deep rhythmic grooves and soft whispery female vocals.
Like wandering through Edo at midnight in a haze of alcohol and fading emotions -
mysterious, intimate, and cinematic.
Liminal Reverie is an instrumental music project centered on the theme between reality and dreams. Between day and night. After the crowds fade away. Moments where reality and dreams have not yet fully separated. Liminal Reverie turns the lingering presence, afterglow, and quiet atmosphere of those moments into sound. The project is built on two complementary musical axes: Japanese side: Edo Lofi Western side: Liminal Reverie Each explores a different world, while sharing the same sense of liminality.
