KOMONO LAKE, a three-member group whose musical style is influenced by city pop, Showa songs, and Soul/R&B, has released their 3rd EP, "Three By Three." Containing a total of 6 songs, including the lead song "Smile", which conveys a positive feeling of parting, and the dreamy ballad-like new song "Karaoke". In February, the band made their first festival appearance, and in January, they were selected for TuneCore Japan's "WHO AM I?" campaign, and their previous single "Body's Voice" was selected for Spotify's official playlist "RADAR: Early Noise". A noteworthy EP packed with the latest from a rising Tokyo artist.

KOMONO LAKE
KOMONO LAKE is a three-piece music project based in Tokyo, blending the sounds of City Pop, Showa-era pop songs, and Soul/R&B. Formed in 2021, the group features the versatile singer and illustrator Kanbin, London-born producer SKYTOPIA (known as a former member of Kero Kero Bonito), and bassist Kuroji, who is also active as a session bassist for artists such as Night Tempo. Since coming together, they've released three EPs and a full album, captivating audiences with their unique sound.In 2022, KOMONO LAKE hosted a program for a month on FM Yokohama and dropped a single, "Easy," in collaboration with singer gb. The following year, they successfully toured Taiwan and were spotlighted in TuneCore Japan's "WHO AM I?" campaign, as well as Spotify's "RADAR: Early Noise" playlist. As summer 2024 unfolds, KOMONO LAKE has been hailed as an artist to watch on Fuji TV's "Tune," continuing to enchant listeners with their memorable melodies and soothing vocals.
