遠ざかる風の匂いが消える
窓辺の風鈴が揺れる
あてもなく浮かぶ入道雲は
水を撒き空を染めてゆく
影の色塗りつぶす日差しが溢れて
全てが蜃気楼だ
白い陽炎踊る午後の路地に
砂埃は舞い上がり
照り返しの光染まる壁に
夢で見ていた風景を描いていた
儚げに消えてゆく昼下がり
八月の空は色が滲んで
鈴の音は雲間に消えた
何もかも燃え尽くす日差しが溢れて
全て幻さ
白い陽炎踊る午後の路地に
砂埃は舞い上がり
照り返しの光染まる壁に
夢で見ていた風景を描き
南風の運ぶ草いきれに
打ち水さえ雲隠れして
氷菓子の色を映す影は
田舎道の風景を描いていた
儚げに消えてゆく昼下がり
夕立が迫る空の隙間に
秋風が揺れていた

This is the new single by Kubota Wataru, who not only writes the lyrics, composes the music, and arranges the music, but also does everything related to the production, including the video and artwork, all by himself. This is an epic poem that captures the time that passes in our ordinary lives and transforms it into a work of art. The song is filled with a sense of the seasons and leaves a lingering sense of desolation.
