tomodati reveals consecutive two months digital single release with the theme "P.U.N.K"!!!

They are embodying 20's Electro-Alternative style, named it as "TOKYO FUTURE PUNK", by SOUND and VISUAL.

The song "P.U.N.K" ,composed and written by Mutsuo Nakamura(Vo.), is based on the approach of Hyper-Pop, and takes the mixed taste of Drum'n bass and Trap in hooks. Along with these sound formats, they send the message of the anxiety and conflict to live in this era and eager to make us free from it. The band member sadakata(VJ) also enhances the message by visuals.

    tomodati is a Tokyo-based music and visual duo consisting of mutsuonakamura, a producer, composer, and designer, and Sadakata, a VJ, visual artist, and visual director. Moving across rock, hip-hop, garage rock, bass music, hyperpop, house, and electronic music, tomodati combines intense, experimental soundscapes with infectious pop melodies. Their work explores an alternative musical identity that moves freely between the energy of live venues and the atmosphere of club culture. Their creative backgrounds span music, film, visual arts, design, and fashion. mutsuonakamura previously worked in the Japanese major music scene as part of the music unit Have a Nice Day!, gaining experience in a wide range of musical production, from film scores to idol music. As a producer, he has also provided music for various artists, including edhiii boi's otomodati, which has accumulated over 600 million views on TikTok, and Haru Nemuri, who has built an international following through her distinctive musical expression. He also oversees tomodati's visual identity, including artwork, logos, and graphic design. Sadakata is a VJ and visual artist who has created visual productions for numerous artists and events at major venues and festivals across Japan, including FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL, LIQUIDROOM, Nippon Budokan, and Saitama Super Arena.
