メンバー(L→R) 上田雄(Gt) / youdog(Ba) / 吉田涼(Vo.Gt) / 與那城直記(Dr) SABANNAMAN( サバンナマン ) 2012 年 大学内サークルにて結成。 レーベル IKKI NOT DEAD から 2 枚のフルアルバムをリリース。 主に７０s～９０s の洋楽に影響を受け、多種多様な音楽性と柔軟な演奏力を持ち味として、 横浜・都内を中心に全国へと活動を広げる。 FUJI ROCK FESTIVALʼ 15 ROOKIE A GO GO に出演し投票数 1 位を獲得し、 翌年には FUJI ROCK FESTIVALʼ 16 RED MARQUEE STAGE に出演。 そのほか京都大作戦 牛若ノ舞台、八食サマーフリー LIVE、HAZIKETEMAZARE FESTIVAL、 百万石音楽祭ミリオンロックフェスティバル、SATANIC CARNIVAL や ECHOES など数々のフェスに出演。 2016 年にリリースした 1st mini ALBUM『Psychedelic Sox Funk』のリリースツアーは初の大規模ツアーとなり、 FINAL 公演では SABANNAMAN のルーツでもある COKEHEAD HIPSTERS との 2 マン LIVE を行い、大盛況の中幕を閉じた。 2025 年 2 月、２年間サポートベーシストとして共に活動してきた元 PRAISE の youdog が正規メンバーとして加入し、 同年 3 月に製作中のミニアルバムから先行シングル『Kalisea』をリリース。 新たなグルーヴを手に入れ、音楽性の幅と自由さを増した SABANNAMAN は、今後の音楽シーンを担う重要なピースとなる。
