2024年、曽我部恵一との共作名義「曽我部恵一 & JUNES K」で注目を集めたビートメイカー／プロデューサー・Junes Kが、OILWORKS RECより4枚目となるアルバム『Slight Return』をリリース。環ROYのリミックスなどでも知られ、ストイックで繊細な音世界が凝縮された全21曲を収録。

今作では、自身のルーツであるギターを軸に、メロディのレイヤーが幾重にも折り重なり、Junes Kならではのビートアレンジとリズム感覚が、聴覚と想像力を刺激。丁寧に構築されたサウンドは、浮遊感と高揚感が共存しながら、ときに無機質で機械的なニュアンスも帯びています。アートワークも本人によるもので、有機的なビジュアルと音の世界が深くリンクした、まさに“体感するビートアルバム”。

    Beatmaker/Producer/Graphic Designer Born in Kumamoto Prefecture, currently living in Fukuoka Prefecture. He has released works in collaboration with Keiichi Sogabe, and has been highly acclaimed for his cross-genre and cross-generational collaboration. He won the Beat Grand Prix CLASH 2019, released works on OILWORKS REC, and was selected for Spotify's global playlist "Fresh Finds". He has been active in music production, including with Tamaki ROY, HAIIRO DE ROSSI, NAGAN SERVER, and Irie Yo, and has also produced songs for TV dramas. As a graphic designer, he continues to express himself through jacket artwork, solo exhibitions, collages, and robot illustrations.
