''Maybe I will become a powerful person in a few years''
How many times have you been comforting yourself like this at midnight ?
But day after day, it seems that nothing has changed. You are still the one who is consumed, pulled, forgotten, and isolated.
There are still endless games levels that can't be finished. But you are just going on.
Every time you fail, a dialog box pops up in front of you to ask if you want the game to continue (YES/NO).
Hesitated again and again, still chose YES. Because you still believe that after experiencing all this, there will be something waiting for you in front.
''Maybe I will become a powerful person in a few years''

Following the 2017 EP"Here comes a new challenger!" Chinese Football
released the new EP "Continue?" in 2019 , as the second part of the "Game Trilogy", the protagonist of the game is still the one you are familiar with, Hot-blooded but sensitive Teenager.

Artist Profile

  • Chinese Football

Founded in Wuhan, China, Chinese Football blends the noisy legacy and resonant echoes of 1990s indie rock. Using a musical language that is simple yet intricate, smooth yet raw, they tell stories of passion, imagination, and defeat. Since releasing their self-titled debut album in 2015, they have garnered recognition both at home and abroad, becoming a staple in live house venues and major music festivals across China with their energetic and dynamic live performances. Following two mini-albums inspired by the "game of life" (Here comes a new challenger! in 2017 and Continue? in 2019), Chinese Football released their full-length album Win & Lose in late 2022, completing their "Game Trilogy." In 2023, after a three-year delay, the band expanded their touring reach beyond Japan, Korea, and Southeast Asia to Europe, completing a 35-day, 22-show European tour. This included an appearance at the UK's renowned math rock festival ArcTanGent. Step by step, they continue to fulfill their initial declaration: "Break out of Asia, go global, give it our all, even if it leaves us broken." In 2024, Chinese Football embarked on a new "Scenery" world tour, which included 40 shows across China before returning to Southeast Asia, Taiwan, and their first-ever North American tour. Out of 12 North American shows, 10 were sold out. They were also invited to record live sessions with Audiotree and KEXP.
