You Don't Have to Be Perfect

Tsubasa × KOTARO

Following a major turning point for the three-member vocal group BREAQQQL, Tsubasa and KOTARO embarked on new journeys as solo artists.

Now, for the first time since beginning their solo careers, the two reunite for their first collaborative single, "You Don't Have to Be Perfect."

As we grow older, life brings greater responsibilities, struggles, and uncertainties.

The pressure of comparing ourselves to others, the weaknesses we hide from the world, and the distance between where we are and where we once dreamed of being.

Yet even through hesitation, setbacks, and moments of doubt, we continue moving forward, one step at a time.

"You don't have to be perfect. It's okay if they laugh at you."

These words carry a simple but powerful message: even if you haven't become the person you hoped to be, you deserve to acknowledge yourself for doing your best to live through each day.

Not every meaningful day is marked by a great achievement. Even the ordinary days, when nothing seems to change, are quietly shaping the future.

Having shared so much of their journey together, Tsubasa and KOTARO deliver an honest, heartfelt message through words that reflect who they truly are.

Rather than denying the past, they embrace every experience and turn the time they've shared into strength for the roads ahead.

"I'm living through today. That's the proof that I'm alive."

You don't have to be perfect.

It's okay to be uncertain, to make mistakes, and to take the long way around.

To everyone doing their best to make it through another day, this song is for you.

A heartfelt collaboration from Tsubasa and KOTARO, gently encouraging listeners to take another step toward tomorrow.
