ZINZEIKAIKI: Tokyo-Based City Pop Band Debuts on March 19
After the disbandment of their predecessor band ZINSEISOUSOUHA which was formed in 2022 by members of Tokyo College of Music, ZINSEIKAIKI was established in 2024, led by keyboardist Noritsugu Takahashi . With engineer/producer Hyuga Kashiwai as their co-producer, they are set to make their digital debut on March 19 with a groovy bass-driven track.
True to the impression their name evokes, ZINSEIKAIKI reflects the idea that life is a continuous cycle-each era shaped by the people and culture that came before, passed down, forgotten, rediscovered, and reborn. With this sentiment in mind, members who graduated from Tokyo College of Music have come together to create music that blends influences from the '80s and '90s, spanning Western and Japanese pop, rock, soul, and KAYOUKYOKU Drawing inspiration from the music and cultural backdrop of those times, ZINSEIKAIKI reinterprets them into a fresh, modern city pop sound.
For their debut, they have teamed up with engineer/producer Hyuga Kashiwai to craft "Motto Mitsumete! ~ Stare More of My Heart", a track characterized by its infectious bassline. The song's theme is:
"Whether we lived through the Shōwa or Heisei eras, or navigate the present day, we have all chased after our own love stories-filled with passion and conflict, like protagonists in a romantic drama. That version of me from back then, that version of you from yesterday."
This highly anticipated track will be released digitally on March 19, 2025, under Korekara, a label by Natural Foundation dedicated to introducing the next generation of artists.
