From The 3rd Utopia (feat. Mikeneko Homeless) [Original ver.]

Tokyo-based artist Punipunidenki releases "The 3rd Utopia (Original ver.)," a new reworking by electronic music duo Mikeneko Homeless.

The track is a fresh arrangement of "The 3rd Utopia (Private ver.)," originally featured on Punipunidenki's EP Sugar Alliance and a recurring favorite in their live performances. It marks their first collaboration with Mikeneko Homeless in approximately four years, following their previous work together on "your room."

Soft, layered synthesizers and a gently pulsing beat create a soundscape that feels both nostalgic and otherworldly. Shimmering electronic textures evoke the glow of diffused light, while a sense of quiet melancholy and warmth runs through the track. The result is a dreamy piece of electronic pop that feels suspended somewhere between memory and imagination.

The lyrics reflect on the choices we make in an uncertain world and what remains after those choices have faded. Even if the paths we have taken eventually lose their meaning, the small melodies we create out of love may continue traveling endlessly toward distant stars. With utopia as a symbol of the space between reality and our ideals, the song carries a fragile sense of hope and a quiet prayer for a journey without end.

Also available is "The 3rd Uto-beer," a collaborative craft beer created with KUNITACHI BREWERY, inspired by the world of the song. Together, the music and the beer offer two ways to experience Punipunidenki's vision of utopia.
