Artist Profile

  • Nobuaki Andoh

At the age of 10, he was so impressed by the voice of a-ha's Morten Harket that he would sing in front of his stereo all day long. In July 2001, he went to Australia to study abroad for a year and a half. His homeroom teacher was a musician, so he was introduced to the pub in the basement of his school and performed live. In August 2010, he released his first album, "Bokura wo Tsutsumu." He toured all over the country, inviting collaborators from major and indie labels. In October 2015, he performed in Nagoya with Kazuki Tomokawa. He continued to perform concerts for three years until 2017. In 2016, he received advice from music writer Yukio Iwata, which marked a major turning point for him. He released his second album, "Andohmusicworld - A Mobile Fortress", after a six-year hiatus. In 2017, he performed a triumphant street live in Melbourne, where he spent his time studying abroad. He was invited to perform outdoor concerts in cities near Melbourne. At the invitation of super guitarist Piotr Lestek, he won the right to compete in the Guitar Masters 2016, the world guitar championship in Poland. (The song he submitted was Andoh Nobuaki's first instrumental piece.)
