"Hatsukoi No Dankushuuto" (My First Love's Dunk Shot) opens with a pro athlete returning home in triumph, only to get booked for a TV variety show shoot. Sitting in the corner of the audience is his first love, still smiling the same way she did back then, and it throws him off just as the show's "big feature" turns out to be a dunk shot challenge. His mind goes blank with nerves, but the dunk lands perfectly and the whole studio erupts in cheers. Backstage, she offers him one simple line, "that was cool," and it sparks a flutter of feeling that feels like his first love all over again. A refreshing, upbeat pop song that captures both the sweetness of young love and the thrill of sports.
