Created by legendary Roots Radics bassist Flabba Holt and Gacha Medz, this album was designed with one purpose: to showcase the unmistakable bass of Flabba Holt.

At the heart of the project is the very same Jazz Bass Flabba has played for over four decades, dating back to the early 1980s. To highlight its massive tone and deep groove, the music is stripped down to its essentials, built primarily around drums and bass.

The same bass sound heard on countless reggae classics by artists such as Yellowman, Gregory Isaacs, John Holt, Israel Vibration, and Barrington Levy is brought front and center, allowing listeners to experience the foundation of reggae music in its purest form.

This is more than an instrumental album.

It is a sonic document of one of reggae's most influential bass players, capturing the heartbeat that has driven generations of Jamaican music.
