Lyric

This is the first original song I've created
with my character, "Uchinoko" (Hatsune Miku).


I wrote the lyrics and composed the music
inspired by comics I'm currently interested in.

The title is "Monochrome no Futari" (Two in Black and White).
It's a unique story about manga artists,
with the concept of "Once Again, Towards a Future I'd Given Up."

I can't go into too much detail because it might be a spoiler,
but the story follows two characters who meet:
Saori, an office worker who can't give up on her dream
(to become a manga artist) and who's terrible at drawing
but can create the best direction,
and Hanaichi, a junior colleague at work who used to love drawing.
They win a manga award and, in order to get their manga serialized,
interact with various people and strive to achieve it.

The storyline and human drama expressed in this manga
are fascinating, and I can't wait to see how it will turn out
when it's brought to animation.
Personally, this comics I'd love to see animated! (*^-^)b

I aimed for a simple song that resonates with you
and sticks in your mind.
The groove, rhythm, and melody line
convey a sense of unpredictability,
so I was like, "Wow... that's what's coming here!?"
It should have that kind of feel to it ;-).
