  Fumie Chiba Pianist Composer Arranger Fumie Chiba is a pianist and composer for original jazz and contemporary music. She was born in Japan. When she was 5 years old heard her cousin playing the piano, after a few month,she started playing piano. She studied classical music until she finished graduate school. But at about the same time, She heard rock music for example, U2 or sting. Later, she encountered Köln concert and Death and the Flower of Keith Jarrett. After that, she studied jazz piano with pianist Mr.Manabu Oishi and composing with contemporary music composer Mr.Satoru Ikeda. And she repeated gigs and sessions with wonderful musicians. In 2009, she released her debut album tip of dream, and in this year she participated in her trio at Yokohama Jazz Promenade Competitions, won the Jazz club prize. In 2012, Her original song Echo won Finalist Winner of the JLSC 2012. In 2013, she released 2nd album Echoes.This contained all her original song, she drew her own world with her precise melody and unique harmony in this album. In 2014, her original song ring light won Semi Finalist Winner of the ISC 2014. And in 2015, she released mini album Rouge-queue included ring light. Currently, she plays the original in her own group, perform with wonderful player, and also offers music and arrangements with theatrical players.
