10のオリジナル楽曲を詰め込んだ音源デビュー盤 1st Album「大作戦」、5曲入りの配信EP「夏の終わり EP」、配信シングル「愛の惑星」を2020年に一挙にリリースし、独創性を担保しながらも止まることを知らない溢れる想像力を世の中に示したニューカマーバンド「大聖堂」が今春、両A面シングル「プロポーズ/胸の中」をリリースすることが決定した。

本作は前作「愛の惑星」とも通底する「愛」をテーマにした2曲入りのシングル。リード曲である「プロポーズ」は、その名の通り結婚を前にした2人をテーマにした、小気味良いリズムが足取りを軽くさせるような、優しく、朗らかで明るい一曲。周りの友人たちが結婚し始めたというVo.山本康博の近況から書き上げられた一曲だという。

そして2曲目の「胸の中」は「プロポーズ」のコードを転用した、ゆったりとしたテンポ感が特徴のミディアムバラード。穏やかな各楽器の演奏に乗せて、幻想的な愛の世界を描いた歌詞を伸びやかに歌い上げたカップリングナンバーである。

  • Daiseidō

    "Daiseido" is a five-piece alternative rock band consisting of Yasuhiro Yamamoto (Vo./Gt.), Yuki Ohana (Key.), Kei Naruse (Ba.), Hiroki Machino (Gt.), and Kazune Nakanishi (Dr.). They are characterized by a musicality that evokes various roots and essences regardless of time period or country, and continue to create good music that is "nostalgic and new at the same time" on a daily basis. They formed in 2018 and started their activities based in Tokyo. Since then, they have energetically released albums and EPs, and in March 2023, they released their latest EP "Daihenshin". After the release of this work, popular singer-songwriter Vaundy posted the song on SNS, attracting the attention of many music listeners. After that, the band's Vo. Yamamoto provided the theme song "Beam" for Sumire Miyaji(Hinatazaka 46)'s personal PV "Sumi Legend, a beautiful girl super idol," which became a topic of conversation.
