Artist Profile

MAYUKARI
Tsugaru shamisen players from Sendai City. A sister unit made up of older sister Yukari and younger sister Mayu. Due to the influence of their grandparents, Yukari was 10 years old and Mayu was 5 years old. They formed Mayukari in April 2023. A collaboration unique to sisters. We deliver the soft, delicate, yet powerful tones of the Tsugaru Shamisen, each with its own individuality.
