本作には、プロデューサーT.O.Mによるアフロビーツ／アマピアノのエッセンスを取り入れた“Love Like That (T.O.M Remix)”、若手リミキサーRen Takahashiが2ステップ風にリアレンジした“I’m OK (Ren Takahashi Remix)”、aimiのライブでもサポートを務めるキーボーディストGakushiによる“Thinkin’ (Gakushi Remix)”、そしてライブでも長年愛されてきた代表曲“Chosen One”を、DJ／プロデューサーのgrooveman Spotとトークボックス・プレイヤーKzyboostが90年代R&Bテイストに再構築した“Chosen One Remix”の全4曲を収録。

R&Bシンガー／ソングライター。日本語と英語を自由にフローするソングライティングで、90年代・00年代R&Bのフレイバーを纏った現行R&Bサウンドを乗りこなす。2020年のデビューより、R&Bシーンを牽引する音楽プロデューサーShingo.S、Modesty Beats、DJ・ビートメイカーのgrooveman Spot、DJ KOMORIなどと楽曲をリリース。今年4月、US R&BプロデューサーLEJKEYS（レジェイキーズ）ともコラボシングルを発表し、話題を呼んだ。 2020年に1st EP『Water Me』をリリースし、初登場iTunes R&B／ソウルチャート1位を獲得。無名ながらリード曲「Sorry」がJ-WAVEのSonar Traxに選ばれる。2021年には2nd EP『Changed 4 Good』をリリースし、アジア圏でもストリーミング数が急上昇。2022年2月に3rd EP『Chosen One』をリリースし、iTunes R&B／ソウルチャート1位を再び獲得。国内R&Bシーンを盛り上げるため立ち上げたイベント「STAY READY」を代官山Space Oddにて二度開催、大成功させた。またラムブランドBACARDIによる新企画「BACARDI Sound Distillery(音楽蒸溜所)」の第一弾フィーチャリングアーティストに抜擢され、プロデューサー/DJ tofubeatsと楽曲をリリース。2023年はEMI MARIA、JASMINEとコラボシングルを連続リリース。 昨年春、キュレーションプロジェクト「R&B Lovers Club」を立ち上げ、同時にSpotifyポッドキャスト「Detox Lounge powered by R&B Lovers Club」を配信スタート。今年より期間限定でBAYFMにてR&B専門番組「aimi presents R&B Lovers Radio」でパーソナリテイを務めた。2月5日に3年ぶりのEP「Empower.Embrace」を発表。キャリア初のワンマンライブを渋谷WWWで2/21(金)に開催し、大成功させる。
