As a guitarist-Ryoji has been featured in Guitar Magazine as one of the greatest guitarists. His playing style is deeply influenced by SRV, John Schofield and Derek Trucks whom he admires the most. Not only he has been working with Japanese artists, but he also has been working with artists from all over the world. As a composer-Ryoji composes more than two hundred songs in all kinds of genres a year, which include NHK TV show Shakiin and TV series Are you sure Kichijoji is the only place you want to live?
