High angle

The repetitions that continue to waver deep within the environment quietly shift the contours of the self. Each pattern carries a slight temporal delay, and as they overlap, they give rise to an indistinct sonic image. What emerges within that fluctuation is not an answer, but the subtle texture of a minute "question." Each time one encounters these phase-shifted sound images, existence gently gains depth and sinks inward. Within subjectivity, the presence of the self is momentary-lacking any definite form-and dissolves into the ever-changing rhythm. The recurring signs of resonance reveal that the moment in which impermanence is received as affirmation is inevitable. "High angle" too, simply synchronizes with everything.


ExoticModulationSky is a sound art project by Tomohiro Kobayashi. He uses ambient music, minimal music, soundscapes, experimental music, etc., and the sounds create variations in relation to space. And we are releasing those works.The music of ExoticModulationSky is created by a peculiar method by the combination of effects. The combination maximize the effects of effectpedals (mainly StompBoxes). In addition, we also collaborate with live performances, video works, and produce sound designs.
