便利になっていくほど、私たちは本当に「自分で選んでいる」と言えるのだろうか。
「UNSUGGESTED」は、そんな現代への小さな違和感を、恋愛を入り口に描いた一曲です。
データや条件だけなら選ばなかったはずの相手。
それでも惹かれてしまう、理由では説明できない感覚から、物語はやがて「自分で選ぶこと」そのものへと広がっていきます。
グルーヴィーなベースを軸に、アシッドジャズ、ジャズファンク、エレクトロの要素を融合。
生演奏のような人間らしい揺れと、冷たく正確な電子音を重ねることで、「人間の予測不能さ」と「アルゴリズムによる最適化」をサウンドでも対比させました。
もし何もかも計算できる世界になったとしても、
ひとつくらい、自分で選ぶ“間違い”を残しておきたい。
