SWALLOW, a three-piece band from Aomori, has announced the release of their 15th single, "Watashi no Tame ni Naite" (Cry for Me), after selling out their first solo Tokyo concert in December 2025 and gaining attention for their activities in both Tokyo and Aomori.
The lyrics and music were written by Honoka Kudo (Vo & G), and the arrangement was handled by Haruto Anbe (Gt). This song directly confronts the beautiful memories of youth evoked by their previous 14th single, "Yakusoku no Nai Ichinichi" (A Day Without a Promise). The song explores how youthful promises are forgotten in adulthood, leaving only the past beautiful, but spring evokes those memories, before eventually returning to everyday life. It's a song that expresses loneliness and feelings for others amidst the consumption of life.
